a love of painting began early in whitney's life, using the dining room walls as her first canvas at the age of two. after receiving her BA in studio art from Baylor University, she became the display coordinator for Anthropologie from 2008 until 2013, where her craft was honed and skillset expanded. from there she transitioned into full time commissioned art while doing floral arranging on the side. everything in the past, present, future is a springboard for inspiration.

after the birth of her children, painting manifested itself as a healing agent of what is experienced internally, externally - a connecting place with God. implementing layered contrasts, each piece holds the ebb and flow of emotions we possess daily. it's effect is expressive, intentional and hopefully, a soft place to land.

whitney currently resides in scottsdale, arizona.
