whitney schlander, b. 1986, new york city. 

whitney is a painter who lives in the desert of phoenix, arizona. she draws on the highly emotive nature of abstract expressionism for her pieces. her works are an opening into how she views and understands the world around her- as a highly intuitive, emotional, spiritual, and physical experience of everyday life. painting has manifested as a healing agent for what is experienced internally and externally in our lives, the unspoken language. 

whitney’s work has been featured in architectural digest, pottery barn, luxe magazine, as book covers, book illustrations and most recently translated to murals.

her days are spent with her husband, three children and pup, traveling, chasing inspiration and hopefully reflecting the gift giver in her creative endeavors.
